Chris leaned back in his chair after finishing off the last of his burger and fries, and sipped on his soda. He and Jubilee had decided to have lunch at the Manhattan Mall food court. Chris looked around at the other patrons of the mall. Part of him couldn't help but wonder how many of them were like Jubilee and himself. After a minute he turned back to Jubilee.
"So," He said to his companion. "It's only about 10 minutes to Central Park from here." He looked at the time on his phone, just to be sure that they had time. "Do you wanna go hang out there?" He crumpled up the wrapper and fry container and put those on the food court tray before gathering up Jubilee's empty food containers. He then emptied the tray's contents into the nearby trash can and put the tray and baskets on top of it.

"Do you wanna go hang out there? " " Sure," Jubilee shrugged, She really had nothing better to do. And she certainly didn't mind hanging out with her best friend. " D'ya wanna see if Cyn-Jen want to hang out as well?" Jubilee popped her last french fry into her mouth and picked up her soda. It wasn't quite empty yet so she decided she'd take it with her. She stood up and allowed Chris to clear the table. If it was her she'd just've left it there for the mall employee's to take care of. That was their job after all wasn't it? But Chris had always been like this. No point in arguin' about it since it wasn't hurtin' anything.

I'll just paint the picture of a perfect placeThey got it better than what anyone's told meThey'll be the King of Hearts, and I'm the Queen of SpadesThen they'll fight for me like they were my soldiers[_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_] The mall was the place for people to come and get all sorts of items from the simplest of blades to something more practical like a zebra stripped pair of shoes. Yet, for Clover, it was hell on Earth! Her OCD behavior screamed at her every time she saw a movie, music, or game set up that she could get at. They were never in alphabetical order and she rushed towards the music stand and began to remove every CD from the shelf and set them on the ground into piles. Her mind was quickly sifting through each title and alphabetizing them with ease, so her body worked with her mind in order to relieve her stress. Piles of CDs were made as she emptied out the shelf of everything it had and set the dividers in their own pile. The CDs were being organized by the first letter the band or singer had. Making her piles, customers began to stare at her with odd gazes; in fact, one even walked up to her and asked if she was an employee here. Stopping her organizing, Clover stared at the older woman and just shook her head. Then the old woman gave Clover an odd look and just backed away slowly. With the distraction gone, Clover went back to work and began putting everything back until an employee approached her. "Maim, I am going to have to ask you to leave now. You are starting to scare everyone around," he informed her as he approached. Reaching out his hand, he grabbed Clover's arm, and she quickly pulled away from him and shot him a sharp glare. A low growl rumbled within her throat that caused the man to back away swiftly, "You need to go, miss before I have to call security." Yet, she ignored his words as she went back to finishing her work. So, the man called for some help.
By the time someone arrived, Clover was already halfway through putting everything away. The security guard approached and asked what the problem was. Being briefed, the guard perked a brow and stared at the employee, "If you ask me, she is doing your job, so instead of calling me, maybe you should just give her some money," he argued. The employee stared at the guard and told him it wasn't his job to question but to remove any threat from the store. Rolling his eyes, the security guard approached Clover and spoke calmly to her, "Alright miss, you had your fun, now it is time for you to go, okay," he stated, but Clover continued her work. Groaning, the guard got closer and grabbed Clover's shoulder. This time around, Clover did not just turn and glare at the man; instead, she acted as her hand grabbed his forearm and vines started to slither from the pockets of her short, black dress. The vines curled around her arm and soon the security guard's arm too. The employee screamed as the vines wrapped around the guard's neck while he tried to reach for his pepper spray. Within the moment his hand grabbed the bottle, vines snapped around his wrist and pulled his hand away as he struggled to breath, slowly turning blue in the face as the oxygen refused to enter his lungs.
Before he got too close to death, she released the guard as something else pecked at her head. As the guard fell over, Clover finished off the few CDs that were left and smiled at her work and stood up to walk away from the entire event like she hadn't just strangled a security guard. But, when she stood, she noticed that a small crowd had gathered around to see what was going on. Perking a brow, her eyes dropped to the security guard that had red marks around his neck and wrist. Rolling her eyes, she stared at the group as they stared back at her, and she acted quickly as her arms shot out along with a lot of vines that ripped all the CDs from their places and reached out for the customers. Screams entered the air and one of the vines smashed the security globe nearby all while Clover made her exit.
It didn't take her very long before she was freed from the store in question and found herself in the food court of the mall. Yet another hell hole she would be happy to be rid of. However, she couldn't just leave as she noticed a couple at one of the tables. She watched as the man cleared the table and she perked a brow at this interaction. Clover rarely understood why guys and girls interacted in such ways since she personally found it to be a waste of time. Yet, she couldn't help but wonder what they were doing. Trotting her way over to them, she noticed their table had several grains of salt on it and she was forced to snatch up a napkin and made her way to the table. Like the OCD freak she was, she began to wipe away the salt and made sure not a grain fell to the ground below. She wanted it all in the napkin so it wouldn't bother her later. While she was cleaning, Clover ignored the couple that were there since her mind was focused just on the salt. That evil enemy that most overlooked.

"D'ya wanna see if Cyn-Jen want to hang out as well? " " Sounds good, uh . . ." Chris noticed the blond woman come up and start wiping the table. Not really thinking much of it he turned back to Jubilee. " Let's keep this organized. Have them meet us at Center Drive near the pond." Chris turned back to the woman that was wiping the table. " Thank you for all your hard work." Chris and Jubilee then started to head to the exit from the mall.

"Hey," Jubilee noticed a lack of uniform on the woman who was wiping up crumbs from their table. "She's worse'n you are, C. I don't think she's an employee here, an' yet she's cleanin' the table."
"She's over there!" came the voice of the CD shop employee. Behind him were several security guards. Due to how close Jubilee was standing to the woman, Jubilee thought that the man was pointing at her!
"Run!" Without thinking Jubilee grabbed the new woman and Chris and started dragging them toward the exit as she ran from the security guards.

I'll just paint the picture of a perfect placeThey got it better than what anyone's told meThey'll be the King of Hearts, and I'm the Queen of SpadesThen they'll fight for me like they were my soldiers[_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_] The words of the man felt odd since she was clearly not wearing a uniform or had any indication she even worked for the mall to begin with. So, that lead Clover to believe he had some sort of mental defect that made him less perceptive than everyone else. Yet, his girlfriend seemed to be a little less ignorant of who Clover was. Even with that slightly more insight than her counterpart, she still lacked the knowledge of not to go grabbing random strangers. Certainly people were approaching and maybe she was the goody goody type, but Clover was no longer interested in running. After all, she was surrounded by her favorite weapon...plants. Ripping her arm away from Jubilee, Clover turned and glared at the approaching security guards and the shop employee. They had made her run long enough and Clover just let a devious grin cross her lips. Almost instantly, the plants came to life within their pots as their roots pushed through the pots they were plastered in. Their leaves slowly formed a head and arms as they stood up and looked ready for war as thorned vines erected from their leafy hands like swords, and Clover was quickly being engulfed in plant life that grew right out of her own pocket. The vines growing around her, lifted Clover off of the ground and her petite body was soon amassed within the plants. Everything then began to go south.
The security guards drew their pistols as the potted plants rushed forward, and Clover's arms shot forward letting the vines rush towards two guards. One managed to dodge while the other was engulfed within the vines. He screamed for his life, but it was quickly muffled as the vines crawled through every orifice he had, including his open mouth. Parting her fingers, the vines tore the man to pieces and sent blood splattering everywhere, along with his body pieces that slapped against the floor, ceiling, walls, and even a few patrons in the food court. This once peaceful place has become a massive battle as the little plants ripped through the few security guards around. The plants ripped and tore at the flesh of each guard, letting their screams over power the soft music that played. People were running in fear of what was going on as Clover simply did what she wanted with the human toys she was given.
It didn't take long before it was only the employee who was left, and he was stuck cowering in the middle of several plants that made sure he didn't try to run. The plant life that surrounded Clover's body began to drift off of it as her feet touched the ground once again. Walking towards the employee, she gave a soft grin before grabbing his throat. A single vine began to crawl down from the ceiling and wrapped just beneath Clover's hand while four more came out of her pockets and wrapped around his wrists and ankles. No words were said as she stared at the man's eyes and the moment she released his throat, the vines pulled quick and hard. The sudden pulls tore the man into different little pieces and blood splattered over Clover's clothes and face. Smiling, she turned towards the couple, assuming they were still around, and if they were, Clover would be staring at the witch that grabbed her. The deviant smile returned to her lips as the small army turned to face Jubilee and Tron, their thorned weapons ready to strike as they followed behind Clover's steps. Approaching them slowly, Clover pondered if she should make that witch pay for her mistake or simply scare them off. The thought of anyone showing up to stop her was no where in Clover's mind at the moment. After all, who would want to talk about the massacre at the mall? The bloody scene would have been enough to turn anyone off from speaking of it, though Clover knew it would soon get out. How can anyone not notice the once clean food court was filled of human blood and body parts?

Overcoming his initial shock of the sudden massacre Chris concentrated for a second and his particle armor manifested around him covering from head to toe. He threw his arm to his side and a sword of caitronic energy blazed into life. It emitted a dull hum as the particles danced around. The other hand seemed to become larger and appeared to be covered by a large vase or canon of some sort. He stepped in front of Jubilee and took a battle stance. [glow=0080ff,4,4]"Stay back!"[/glow] Chris's voice was different from before, as the sound waves passed through the dancing particles that comprised his armor, they became slightly distoreted, taking on a more mechanical sound as if coming from a robot's text-to-speech synthesizer. [glow=0080ff,4,4] "I'm warning you!"[/glow]

There was no time to sit around and fight a boy that didn't understand a single thing. After all, it was his girlfriend that wanted to run and now he is going all protective of her? So, he had no problem running from a bunch of male security guards, but once a female mutant steps in, he goes into the protective boyfriend phase. It seemed rather moronic to Clover, but she also knew that more people would be showing up shortly. Wasting her time here just meant that she ran the likely hood of getting caught by the Friends of Humanity. Yet, Clover continued to walk towards the couple, but her plants did not follow as they went limp. The army of flowers was once again just innocent flowers, even if they had some blood on them. Walking around the couple, Clover made her way towards the exit, which was sadly just beyond those two morons. Even though the exit was a fire exit, Clover still didn't hestitate in pushing it open and setting off the alarm as she left the mall. Once outside, police began to come in through the ordinary entry ways, so Clover went unnoticed as she made her escape with ease.
