Family:
Eliane Kramer (mother), Roger Kramer (father)General Appearance:
Anna stands at 5'3" with an average build. She has long light brown hair that is either down or in a pony tail. She has light brown eyes and a clear complexion.Personality:
Anna prefers to wear pinks and light blues. She dresses rather conservatively and wears very little make up.
Anna is a simple city girl. She has a drive to please people and be at the top of her class. While this makes her extremely competitive, she does not make a big deal about her victories. She is a hard worker and unwilling to give up until things are perfect. This becomes a problem for Anna because her perfectionist makes her look haughty to others. She has a sweet disposition which can be taken as "sickeningly sweet" and may come off as fake - despite her genuinely caring for everyone.Abilities:
Anna enjoys a variety of quiet activities, including reading and taking walks. Despite her sweet nature, Anna has a lot of spunk and can break out of her shy perfectionist shell whenever she thinks no one is looking.
Anna has a great fear of failure and being alone. This can effect her already low self-esteem and cause her to be a little naive and conned into doing things she might not intentionally do.
Anna has the ability to teleport short or vast distances. She has very little difficulty teleporting several inches to several hundred feet but has difficulty the further she tries to teleport. She must visualize her destination before she can teleport. It is unknown whether she can teleport other people. She has shown the ability to teleport quite rapidly without getting tired, although she has some trouble landing after multiple "ports" as she calls them.History:
Anna also has the ability to turn invisible. Her invisibility does not hide sounds she makes or her body heat signature. However, she is not visible to the naked eye. Whenever Anna gets nervous, her natural instinct is to turn invisible. In addition to her invisibility, she can turn her clothes invisible and it may be possible for her to turn objects she touches invisible as well.
Anna was born to politicians, Roger and Elaine Kramer. As an only child from a wealth family, Anna had access to top of the class education, health care, and security. What she didn't have was her parents. Elaine was a former New York lawyer turned judge turned senator, while Roger was an Ivy League graduate sitting in the seat of a congressman. While both loved their daughter deeply, they had very little time to spend with her. As such, Anna was raised by a whole host of nannies, many of whom she never got close to because they always left.Other:
She spent her childhood creating her own imaginary parents, telling her classmates all the things her parents did for her when it was hardly the truth. Anna excelled at school, becoming top of her class at a very young age. She learned that by earring good grades her parents would give her just a little bit more attention. Anna strived to be the perfect daughter for her perfect parents. She held no resentment toward them, only an ache in her heart for some guidance.
When Anna entered high school, she was given the opportunity to attend a prestigious school where only the richest of individuals went. Making friends was difficult for Anna at this age. Her parents' political careers were skyrocketing and her choice of friends became more and more selective. As a result, Anna spent most of her time alone - not wanting to get close to anyone as they might be deemed unworthy. At fifteen, Anna experienced a change in her… quite literally.
On her birthday, she was excited for the first time in fifteen years. Her parents had cleared their schedule to take her out to her favorite restaurant. Dolled up and skipping down the hall of their large estate, Anna was greeted not by her parents but by her parents' publicist, Tom. Tom explained to Anna that something had come up and that Roger was unable to make it. Anna was heartbroken but the idea of having some one-on-one time with her mother lifted her spirits. It was too much for her to hope for.
Anna's mother explained that she needed to go to California for a press conference and that she had to catch a red eye that night. Anna tried to tell her mother how much this birthday meant for her, but her mother was firm. Upset, Anna said some things to her mother that she would later regret and locked herself in her room. As she sat sobbing in the corner, she felt a cool sensation run through her body. Thinking nothing of it, Anna went to shower and calm herself down… only to discover that she could not see herself in her reflection. Anna screamed for her parents, but they had already left.
Anna was truly alone. She wished hard for her parents and experienced another sensation. A small "pop" rang through her ears as she felt a gust of wind pass through her. When she opened her eyes, she saw that she was standing right in front of her mother, who was on her way to the airport. That night, her parents returned home and learned that their daughter was a mutant.
Anti-mutant sentiments was a growing issue in the states and this was not what Anna's parents needed at the moment. Elaine took time off, citing the need to "be a mother" and hired the most expensive doctors to help "fix" Anna. This was the most attention Anna had gotten in all her life. Doctor after doctor. Nurse after nurse. Anna was unable to be "cured" of this disease. She had spent years being the perfect daughter, only to be placed in the "this is a disaster" category.
She was taken out of school, for fear that her abilities may "flare up" and expose her family to negative press. Anna spent a year having various tutors, most of whom stayed for several weeks, as her parents did not want them to catch Anna using her abilities - whether she did it purposely or not. This caused her to feel great shame for being different. When she was sixteen, she received an invitation to attend a prestigious school in New York. One where the rumored waiting list extended until 2031. Intrigued, Anna begged her parents to allow her to attend, promising not to use her powers. They hesitated for quite some time before finally agreeing.
Anna arrived at Xavier's School for the Gifted expecting to see something out of a catalogue. Well, she was right. It looked like a posh school but there was something oddly different about it. Not only did she feel at ease but her room mate had purple skin and could breathe fire. She spent her remaining educational years honing her abilities, learning that this school was for the gifted but was hidden away from others… others who would put her or her family at risk.
Anne has a love for Coke and collect bottle caps in a shoe box under her bed.Sample RP:
Time was running out. She could feel the sweat begin to bead across her forehead. She wiped her hair from her sticky face and took a breath. You can do it. She told herself, closing her eyes. It was now or never. She could not give up. She could not lose. Anna braced herself and counted down. 3. 2. 1.
In a sprint, Anna ran through explosion after explosion. Her feet seemed to be carrying her like she was flying. She ducked as a large rock came flying to her right. Ducked when a larger one hurled from her left. Jumped when a pillar came rolling toward her. Anna turned her head slightly to look at how far she had gone. She turned again and gasped as a large sheet of concrete exploded, sending large chunks toward her. Anna held her breath and concentrated.
Pop. She heard the little noise and felt herself being propelled to safety. Anna made several other little pops. POP. POP. POP. It looked as if she were gliding from place to place, dodging all the shards of concrete, rock, and wood thrown at her. She could see the large red flag across the field, waving at her to hurry.
Anna jumped into the air and held her breath again. POP! She tumbled to the finish line, her hand reaching for the flag. Just as she reached it, the battle field ceased to make noise. She turned as the sound of metal clanking surrounded her. Everything was clean and sterile. There were no explosions. No smell of smoke and fire.
Anna felt herself sigh as she looked upward. "I want to go again," she said lightly, rising to her feet. "You already have the record, Anna, why do you keep doing this to yourself?" The voice in the sky asked. Wiping the sweat from her brow, Anna smiled and held a thumbs up. "I want to see if I can beat it!" She smiled on the outside, but on the inside she felt her heart sink. She disappointed herself and that made things sting even more when group training began and other students entered the room.
