Marty Louis Smith (father) Mandy Smith (mother) Wanda Jo Bialowsky (step mother)General Appearance:
Tabitha wears her hair short, at most shoulder length when it is actually laying down although most of the time it is allowed to lay which ever way it ends up at after a good brushing. although she looked good enough without it, Boom Boom sometimes wears lipstick and blush. Occasionally she will wear some eye-shadow as well and paints her nails.Personality:
The clothes that she wears compliment her athletic body, her wearing clothes that fit snugly to her body. She isn't too fond of wearing things that don't have at least a little stretch to them though, not liking to have her movements restricted too much.
She stands at five feet, seven inches tall. Her eyes are blue and her hair is blond. If someone asks her what her weight is, she's likely to laugh at them or smack them upside the head, but she weighs in at a hundred and twenty five pounds.
There was a time when she was growing up in a trailer park in Pennsylvania that Tabitha Smith used to believe that, if she could just get out, just escape, that she would magically become a better person. She still has those feelings and insecurities even if she doesn't really show them. Instead of showing them, she shows her wilder side; the side of her that is easily excitable, loves pulling pranks, and doesn't seem to let much get her down as far as depression. Sure, she's got a temper on her but as far as hurt feelings go, she doesn't show it all too easily.Abilities:
She's a little messed up when it comes to showing affection, not having had the best of upbringing or the most loving kind so she tends to pick at people she is growing fond of and such. Those who get to know her learn to tell when she is just being affectionate in her own way or when she is really out to hurt someone's feelings.
Tabby creates pea-sized to soccer-ball sized spheres of psionic explosive energy. These spheres of energy work as time bombs most of the time although if they collide with something hard enough or if Tabitha becomes distracted, these bombs can go off anyway. With the energy bombs, size doesn't usually matter as, depending on the concentration of energy pushed into a sphere, a tiny orb can end up being able to cause the same amount of damage as one the size of a soccer ball. Generally, the more powerful ones and the larger ones take longer to make and the large and powerful ones take the longest amount of time to form. Usually she counts down when these bombs explode, but there doesn't seem to be a set limit. For example, she could count 10....9....8....7...., and then wait five minutes and finish, 6....5....4, etc. She has the ability to reabsorb her time bombs before they go off, but it is a painful process for her and takes a deal of concentration as she hasn't learned how to use her powers to their full potential.History:
Tabitha didn't have the best of childhoods. She was in three words, labeled as a "trailer trash kid". Her parents weren't anywhere near rich and her father was an alcoholic with a hard hand when it came to disciplining or when he was just having a bad day. As if things were not bad enough at the trailer, at school the other kids used to laugh at her and make fun of her because of where she lived and because of her father being known as a drunk and Tabitha would get into many a fight, constantly getting detentions and suspensions from the school she went to.Other:
At thirteen, Tabitha's mutant power, to create balls of explosive concussive energy, emerged an needless to say, her parents were not thrilled at all. It seemed to be the last straw for her mother, her mother divorcing her father and leaving her with him for him to deal with. With Tabitha being a mutant, it caused her father to become even more abusive. Resentful towards her father, Tabitha put a small explosive ball of energy in his lasagna. In retaliation, her father gave her the beating of her life.
His disgust of her abilities seemed to change into acceptance though when he began plotting on using her for the crimes he had been committing within the last few years. He took advantage of her abilities to break into vaults at stores and even rob a few banks. Before too long, Tabitha got fed up with being used and abused and she ran away.
In recent days, Tabitha has been finding herself getting into heavier trouble than intended. This has to do with the Intolerance Act and the fact that even if she doesn't want to sign up onto the "I'm a mutant" list, she had been too mischievous to keep her powers under wraps. Although this is a dangerous kind of life, Tabby has been making a kind of game out of taunting the officials after she had realized that hiding what she can do is no longer one of her strong points.
Tabitha is unaffiliated but she is looking for some kind of guidance or some place to belong, even if she won't admit it.Sample RP:
There was a series of explosions at the police station then a attractive but mischievous blonde ran out through the wall of smoke that was filling the doorway. She paused for a moment to bend over, grabbing her knees as she laughed and choked then as yelling came from inside along with two more exits from the station, she righted herself and gave a crazy grin before running as fast as she could down the sidewalk.
"Hey!"
"Stop!"
As if she was going to listen to them. Come on now, she might have been blonde but she wasn't stupid! Did they actually think that she was going to do as they said? She broke out of the holding cell, that had to give at least clue to the cops that she wasn't exactly the one to follow a piggy's orders. But....
Tabitha suddenly stopped, turning around with an expression that made it obvious that she was up to something. The cops that were chasing her suddenly stopped as well, reaching for their guns. That was when the grin dropped from her face. Guns? They hadn't been that serious about catching her before... Why the sudden seriousness? Well, they did look a little new though that black mask of smudge they had from the explosions back at the station courtesy of yours truly.
"Aww, come on now. Don't you love me anymore?"
She suddenly laughed and tossed a handful of light embodied marbles at their feet before taking off again. The explosions were harmless, just enough to make a big noise and to throw up some dirt into the air. Almost like smoke bombs. And she could hear the cops yelling for her to stop right where she was... They didn't seem to get the idea... As she looked over her shoulder to see how close to catching up to her the two were, she suddenly collided into someone, getting knocked on her butt on the sidewalk.
Slowly, she looked up to see a rather large guy in uniform with a couple of smaller ones on either side of him.
"Aww... Come on.... I'm not really too good at being caught twice in one day!" Tabby exclaimed before scrambling up onto her feet.
In the next moment, there were some more explosions followed by the teen's laughter and the police coughing and she was taking off across the street. The sidewalk was her buddy for a few moments but then she took to the alley ways. The cops were good when it came to chasing her, them having had a decent amount of practice since she was almost always up to something but they could never keep up when it came to her obstacle-like shortcuts through the alley ways.
