Kimura stands at 5'4" and weighs a healthy 125 lbs. She has smooth milk chocolate colored skin and deep brown eyes that turn white when she uses her abilities. Her hair is normally worn down and does not come below her lower back.Personality:
Her wardrobe tends to encompass a variety of styles but consists of all black pieces. She likes to wear metallic bracelets of varying sizes and shapes but otherwise likes her appearance to be pretty minimal.
Kimura is a no nonsense type of gal who dislikes being told what to do. She likes to micromanage those around her and has no hesitation to punish people for wronging her. Kimura has very little fears of the world and can be quite a demanding lady. She likes to take things in before making a decision, but once that decision is made she is likely to follow through until the end. Kimura does not run from a battle, unless she is physically taken, and is extremely persistent. She trusts no one and is the type of person who takes first impressions very seriously.Abilities:
Underneath her strict, rigid side, Kimura has an intense fear of abandonment. She does not like to be left alone and constantly surrounds herself with objects the bring her comfort. She also dislikes the dark and constantly uses her abilities to keep light on, no matter where she is.
Technopathy - Kimura has the absorb and decipher electronic signals. She can receive and store all forms of electronic data and transmissions in her mind. It is possible that she has an infinite storage capacity in her mind, containing every piece of information she has been exposed to. This information is often streamed into her mind far faster than she can accurately scan it all consciously. She also has the ability to relate to computer systems. She can read and manipulate information without a congenital computer interface and apparently has a physiological connection to surrounding information sources (i.e. radio waves, electronic signals, hard drives, etc.). She also acts as a living "anti-surveillance device" where cameras and recording devices fail to operate when in proximity of her.History:
Magnetism Manipulation - Kimura also has the ability to manipulate electromagnetic fields to achieve a wide range of effects. Her primary application of her power is to manipulate metal. The maximum amount of mass she can manipulate is unknown. However, she has only shown the ability to lift objects of around 50 tons and can only "slow" down metal projectiles (i.e. bullets).
Kimura lived with her loving parents and three brothers in New York City. However, her life changed forever as a young girl when her father, a police officer, was shot by gang members in front of her. Traumatized, Kimura grew up to be a troubled teenager.Other:
Her mutant power first manifested itself at school when she got into an altercation with gang leader Darryl. As her friend was being attacked by Darryl and his friends, Kiesha screamed for him to stop and watched as the headphones connected to his cd player electrocuted him. He was hospitalized for several weeks and had lost his hearing from the trauma.
She returned home that evening to her younger brother trying to fiddle with the television as their family had become rather poor following her father's death. Her mother worked three jobs, making it difficult for her to be there or to provide for her children. Kiesha went to make dinner for her family, usually consisting of macaroni and cheese with hot dogs, and called for her brothers to come. When they didn't, Kimura yelled for them, having been frustrated that they weren't listening, and witnessed the broken television turn on crystal clear and then proceed to explode. Something wasn't right.
Over months, Kimura tested her new found abilities. She swiped her neighbor's credit card and cashed out over $6,000 worth of cash. After going on several shopping sprees, Kimura was eventually caught via surveillance camera. While the police could not figure out what her methods were, they had her already pegged for a life of crime.
Kimura graduated high school and skipped out of town, after "hot wiring" a Jaguar from a neighboring car lot. She led several small time groups of equally troubled young adults into robbery, making away with over $5 million in cash. She was eventually arrested after there was a steak out for a neighboring bank.
While sitting in jail, Kimura was released by a mysterious man, who called himself Magnus. Kimura was quick to make her getaway but soon learned that he wasn't just a good samaritan, rather he was the leader of a group of individuals like her. He promised to help her become more than a petty thief... one of the most powerful mutants in the world.
Kimura doesn't need to be around electronics to activate them but can get something she calls "feedback" if she is not fully concentrating.Sample RP:
Kimura really dislikes most of the members of the Brotherhood. Mostly because they are psychopaths and she considers herself above them.
Contrary to belief, Kimura didn't really enjoy play time with her fellow Brotherhood mates. She thought them to be misfits in the worst of ways, psychotic misfits. Kimura was a misfit but a normal misfit. She didn't really have a blood lust type of persona and was mostly a moody young 20 year old who had to deal with a fish boy, snake girl, some weird plant girl, and a bird wanna be. Honestly, this rag tag band of 'brothers' was becoming more and more like a freak show. At least in Kimura's eyes.
Now, when you considered the loopy dopy Xavier kids, they seemed more or less goody two shoes with the need to impress big daddy than get their priorities in line. Kimura had her priorities straight. She was part of the Brotherhood and would do what Magneto told her to do, not out of respect. Hell no. But out of fear. There had been plenty of times where Kimura was put into a situation that scared the hell out of her… only because she misbehaved. Like an odd extremist father, Magneto had straightened her out… somewhat.
Kimura had heard about Raven little plan to get back at the FOH in all its glory. And coming from the winged shadow lady, this meant death. Loads and loads of death. Now, Kimura had seen her fair share of death but she wasn't about to let the Brotherhood's name be on that line. The last thing she needed was to head from Mr. Red Tuna Helmet that the entire brigade was being punished for a couple of mutants' insatiable appetite for chaos of mayhem.
This left her in a precarious situation. Should she just wash her hands of the situation and let things happen on their own? Or should she sort of step up and get her hands dirty and try to… gasp… save a few poor souls who wanted nothing but to bag and tag her for some weirdo experiment? Eh. The latter sounds so much less fun, but she knew what she had to do. Damn her and her need to keep her head out of trouble.
She had kept herself hidden from Raven as she sauntered out of the house and then spotted the leaf girl slink away with her brood of odd looking plants. She signed and threw on her darkest pair of army boots and laced them up. Her metal bracelets clinked as she slid them onto her wrist. She adjusted them just right and made her way into the garage. Some of the elder Brotherhood members had the luxury of having cars… Kimura had the luxury of not having to have keys. She eyed the sportiest car she had ever seen and smirked. She felt bad for that car owner.
Her eyes sparked and then turned a bright shade of white. The car's lights flickered and then turned on, as if it had waken from a slumber. It revved itself and seemed to stare at Kimura before it swung its door open, waiting for her arrival. She smirked and jumped in, peeling out of the driveway and into the street. Music stations flipped magically as she sped down the street. She looked upward somewhat as her mind communicated with satellites which projected images into her head… images of where the rally was being held. She placed her hand on the steering wheel and instantly felt the jerk of the car as it headed off in the right direction. Coming to a rolling stop, Kimura sat outside the rally, her face hidden by the tinted windows.
